Which businesses can participate?

The scheme is mainly aimed at:

• Small and medium-sized enterprises based in Cyprus

• Companies with tax activity and a tax identification number

• Businesses that are not in financial difficulty

• Entities with economic activity (even non-profit ones)

Public organisations or fully state-funded entities are excluded.

What does the grant cover?

The grant covers a wide range of digital investments. If you want to use the scheme for a website grant in Cyprus, you are in the right place. See the details:

• Website / eshop creation or upgrade

• SEO (optimisation for better ranking on Google)

• Google Ads setup (not the advertising budget)

• ERP / CRM / invoicing software

• Cloud services (e.g. hosting, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace)

• Equipment (computers, POS, tablets, etc.)

• Staff training on the use of digital tools

VAT is not covered, while the expense must be reasonable and justified.

How much is the grant?

The grant amounts to:

• 70% for businesses in mountainous or disadvantaged areas (up to €70,000)

• 50% for businesses in other regions (up to €50,000)

The digital transformation of businesses through this scheme is achieved at a low real cost, as the state covers the largest part of the investment.

The application process is simple but requires proper preparation:

1. Compilation of supporting documents (financial data, SME declarations, technical proposal)

2. Submission of a quote by a technology partner (e.g. for a website, SEO, CRM)

3. Completing the application on the platform fundingapps.meci.gov.cy

4. Submission by the applicant (the final signature is made by the client himself)
